Padma was born in India and raised in the Chicago suburbs. She attended Truman State University on a full scholarship, graduating with a degree in Political Science in 1995, and earned her JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1998.

With over sixteen years of experience as a commercial litigator, she has handled complex commercial and business litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Florida, resolving disputes through litigation, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. Her concentrations include real estate and banking litigation, commercial bankruptcy, business torts, construction defect, products liability, and class action defense.
